Davidson’s Fort Historic Park presents a reenactment of a significant event in the history of Western North Carolina at the beginning of the Revolutionary War. The Cherokee attack on Davidson’s Fort forever changed the Cherokee way of life. View Native American artifacts, learn their story of the period, play various children's games, watch various demonstrations throughout the day to include: “The Solider’s kits”, tools of the period, Corn Husk doll-making, learn to use a Lucet and much more. Working Tavern will be selling cold drinks. Admission:  $5/person 13 years and older. For additional information, call 828-407-8300.
