The National Park Service plans to re-open the majority of the Blue Ridge Parkway on May 15th. In addition to the roadway, all trails will be open.

The U.S. Forest Service trails and campground closures are described online. Not all trails are closed, however, before heading out please refer to this list. Please explore responsibly, follow COVID-19 social distancing guidelines, pack in and out, practice good trail manners, bring snacks and beverages, whatever you need on the trail. Local restaurants/bars remain closed, providing take out service only. Area retailers may open at 50% capacity.
