COVID-19 and Trails - Updates

In addition to the closures listed below, this week the U.S. Forest Service issued closure orders for trails located in the Grandfather Ranger District.  Trail closures include Curtis Creek Road, the camping area and all roadside camping is prohibited.  If you take a drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway, remember all restroom facilities and visitor centers are closed. Click this link for Parkway updates and closures. https://www.nps.gov/blri/planyourvisit/roadclosures.htm Resources are limited, please "pack in and pack out" before leaving the Parkway.  Trash receptacles and capacity are limited.
